Privacy Policy

How we look after your information.

Last updated:

This privacy policy explains how Beautyearthdynam (the “Studio”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses and protects information you share with us when you visit our website, write to us through our contact form, call our studio or book a consultation. We respect your privacy and follow the European Union General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Finnish data protection law.

1. Who we are

Beautyearthdynam is a small private studio based at Mannerheimintie 12 B, 00100 Helsinki, Finland. We provide personal sleep hygiene consultations focused on routines, environment and lifestyle. We are the data controller for the information described in this policy.

2. What information we collect

2.1 Information you give us directly

  • Your name, when you write to us through the contact form or book a session.
  • Your email address, so that we can reply to your message.
  • The content of your message and any details you choose to share about your routine, goals or schedule.
  • Booking details, such as your preferred program, date, time and location (studio, online or home visit).

2.2 Information we collect automatically

  • Basic technical information such as your browser type, screen size, device language and the pages you visit.
  • Strictly necessary cookies that allow the site to display correctly and remember your privacy choices.

3. Why we collect it

We only collect information for clear, limited purposes:

  • To reply to your message and answer your questions.
  • To plan and deliver the consultation you have requested.
  • To keep an honest record of your sessions for continuity of advice.
  • To respect your legal rights and to comply with Finnish accounting and tax requirements.
  • To improve the usability of the site, in aggregate and anonymous form.

4. Legal basis for processing

We rely on the following legal bases under the GDPR:

  • Consent — when you tick the consent box on our contact form or accept the cookies notice.
  • Performance of a contract — when you book and pay for a consultation program.
  • Legal obligation — when we are required to keep records for accounting or tax purposes.
  • Legitimate interests — to keep the site secure and to understand, in aggregate, how guests use it.

5. How long we keep it

We keep your information only as long as we need it for the purpose it was collected, and never longer than the law allows.

  • Contact form messages: up to 24 months from the last interaction.
  • Consultation notes: up to 36 months after the final session, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
  • Invoicing and accounting records: as required by Finnish law, typically six years.
  • Strictly necessary cookies: until the end of your browsing session or up to twelve months.

6. Who can see your information

Only the small group of people working in the studio have access to your information, and only to the extent needed to do their work. We may share limited information with:

  • Trusted technical providers who host our website and email, under strict written agreements.
  • Our accountant, only when invoices or tax reports require it.
  • Authorities, but only when a valid legal request requires us to do so.

We never sell your information, and we never share it for advertising purposes.

7. International transfers

Our hosting and email partners are based in the European Economic Area. Where, exceptionally, a sub-processor is located outside the EEA, we rely on the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses and additional safeguards.

8. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

  • Ask us what information we hold about you.
  • Ask us to correct it if it is inaccurate.
  • Ask us to delete it when it is no longer needed.
  • Object to or restrict certain types of processing.
  • Withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing.
  • Receive a portable copy of the information you provided.
  • Lodge a complaint with the Finnish Data Protection Ombudsman.

9. Security

We use reasonable organisational and technical measures to protect your information, including limited access, regular software updates and HTTPS encryption for the whole site. No system is fully immune to risk, but we strive to keep ours quiet, simple and well-tended.

10. Children

Our services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under the age of sixteen. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

11. Updates to this policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. The date at the top of the page will always reflect the most recent change. Significant updates will be highlighted on the home page for at least thirty days.

12. Contact

If you have a question about this policy or want to exercise any of your rights, please write to us through the contacts page or visit our studio at Mannerheimintie 12 B in Helsinki.
